We are a small, relaxed, simple, surfer-friendly place in Recreio - very safe
district of Rio-de-Janeiro, famous for its endless surfing beaches and
natural beauty. Ten minutes walk to the famous Macumba and Prainha beaches, surrounded by the tropical forest of Prainha National park, our house has an air of tranquility that would be greatly appreciated by surfers and nature lovers.
Run by a surfing family, we combine hospitality with local knowledge to insure that you´re having truly authentic experience staying here. You can learn to surf, enjoy the white sand and clean waters, get a ride to the nearby beaches and surf-spots on our surf-truck, try out traditional Brazilian food, that we cook at our house or simply relax in a hammock with the glass of freshly-made caipirinha. If you´re particularly interested in surfing - get in touch with us about our special surf packages and surf-safaris.
Our house has one spacious 4-bed dorm and a 2 double rooms. All the rooms have ceiling fans and clean bed linen. All rates include breakfast.
If you have to cancel your booking, you must do it at least 48hrs before arrival.

If you book between December 15th and March 15th you will be charged 50% in advance in order to secure your booking (non refundable), you may be contacted by the property requesting the CVV code of the credit card used for this booking or asked for a deposit.

From the Galeao International Airoport:
Take a special Real bus to Alvorada via Linea Amarela (not via Zona Sul). After you've passed the highway and entered and exited
Jacarepagua Airport, keep going for another 200 meters and ask the
driver to stop the bus: `Ponto para Recreio por favor`. You'll recognize
the right bus stop by tonns of posters announcing upcoming musical
shows. Get off the bus and take the city buses №360, 314, 315, 316 to Recreio. Keep
going until the bus enters into the beach and stop it at the traffic light next to the big rock set into the sea (Pedra do Pontal) and life-guard post 12 (posto doze). Get off the bus, walk for 3 min till the surf shop PONTAL SURF on your right. Enter into the shop and ask them for U SURF ME. They'll ring us up and we'll pick you up from there.
From Santos Dumond International Aiport:
Take a special Real bus to Alvorada via Zona Sul. Continue for a while throughout Zona Sul of Rio de Janeiro and 4 tunnels until
getting to wide motorway of Avenida das Americas. Stop the bus at Barra Shopping. Get off the bus and take the city bus №360, 314, 315, 316 to Recreio. Look above for further directions.
From Zona Sul
Take city bus № 360 or № 314 at BRS3 bus stop at Copacobana.or directly at Ipanema beach, or city bus № 316 at Jardim Botanico or Gavea. Continue throughout Zona Sul and several tunnels until getting to wide motorway of Avenida das Americas and getting to the Recreio beach. Look above for further directions.
From the Novo Rio bus station:
Get out of the bus station. Cross the busy highway over the narrow bridge-passage. Take the city bus № 361 or № 315 to Recreio. After passing along the toll road and through the tunnel and along busy motorway of Av. das Americas, you'll finally hit Recreio beach. Look above for further directions.
