Listing Details
Our cabins range in size from small private cabins (with space for 2-5 guests), to bungalows (3-7 guests), to a small, two-storey mountain house (for 7 people), located in a tranquil, natural setting.
All of our cabins have beautiful woodwork, bathrooms with hot water, and terraces or balconies with views of the cloud forests and Nicoya gulf.
In addition, four of our cabins have fully equipped kitchens (with stove, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker) to allow guests to cook their own food.
We also offer delicious Costa Rican breakfast service to guests in our ‘Soda’ (small café). For groups of 8 people or more, we can also provide dinner service upon request.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.
Check In: 2.00 – 8.00 pm.
Check Out: 12.00 noon.
Method of Payment upon the arrival: Cash, Credit Cards or Debit Cards.
Breakfast is not included.

Directions
Cabinas Capulin are located in Santa Elena, about 750 m (a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute walk) northeast of the Santa Elena town center.
The cabins are within a short drive (5 minutes) or short walk (10 minutes) to the Santa Elena restaurants and shops, and are convenient for trips to the SkyWalk, Sky Trek and Selva Aventura attractions (&1 Km) and the Santa Elena Reserve (2 Km), as well as all of the attractions in Monteverde (< 3 Km ).
To get to the cabins from San Jose, head north on the Pan American highway until you reach the entrance to Sardinal. Turn right at Sardinal and follow signs to Santa Elena and Monteverde (37 Km). The road is paved for the first 17 Km; the rest is a dirt road.
When you arrive in the paved center of Santa Elena, drive past the first paved road, and down the hill.
Turn left at the bottom of the hill (where the Pension Toucan is). Drive one block. Turn right at the Banco Nacional, heading out of the town center.
The road will take you up a small hill. At the top of the hill, veer left, following the paved road. Continue along this road, passing the soccer field. Shortly after the soccer field, the road will become a dirt road.
Continue along the main dirt road for roughly 200m. The road will go down a small hill. At the bottom of this hill, turn right, following the sign to the Sky Trek and Selva Aventura. Continue along this road for roughly 150 m.
Then turn right to drive into the Cabinas Capulín (look for a brown sign in the shape of a cabin on the right hand side of the road).
Follow the driveway to the reception which is located 50 m away from the road.
