Hotel 'Xoai' Can Tho is run by a German-Vietnamese couple and is geared towards International travelers. The 23 rooms have double or single beds, a private bathroom with shower and toilet, fan, air condition and telephone. a) By bus from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Go to Le Hong Phong in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. There are plenty of small bus operators and three big bus operators: Thanh Buoi, Phuong Trang and Mailinh. Thanh Buoi buses travel faster than the others due to shorter stop overs. From Le Hong Phong the operators will bring you to Ben Xe Mien Tay, the main bus station for the Mekong Delta, where the tour buses leave. Alternatively you can go directly to Ben Xe Mien Tai Bus Station by yourself. In the bus the customer assistant will ask you, where you want to be dropped off in Cantho. Please hand the assistant the address of the hotel. Cars of the bus operators will bring you directly to the hotel. This is included in your bus fare from Ho Chi Minh City. You do not need to take a taxi or motorbike, if you arrive by bus. The hotel is very centrally located. Please look out for a six storey yellow building. If the driver has nevertheless difficulties, you can give him the telephone number of the 'Xoai' and he can call the hotel to get more detailed directions. b) By bus from the Mekong Delta and Chau Doc
Many bus companies operate in the Mekong Delta. Main bus companies will have a service to bring you directly to your destination in Cantho. Please hand bus assistants the address of the hotel and they will take care to put you off at the hotel. There are two main bus stations in Cantho. If you happen not to get a ride directly to the hotel, please take a taxi or motorbike. Hand the driver the address. The charge should be in any case between 20-40,000VND (1-2 USD) depending on the day time and vehicle you are using. The hotel is very centrally located.
