At The Entrance Backpackers, you can do as little or as much as you like! The Backpackers is situated in The Entrance, a popular stop on the Central Coast. The Backpackers is brand new and purpose built. Dorms are airy and spacious. This is an ideal spot to spend a few days while exploring the town.
We are the newest and only Backpackers in The Entrance. A small family run hostel, we are located in the heart of The Entrance, only minutes from the beach, cafes, restaurants and bus terminal. There is also loads of available parking around us. With only four dorm rooms, we are a bright and cheerful boutique hostel. Great atmosphere and fun-loving staff will make you feel instantly at home. Our rooms feature air-conditioning/heating in every room, 24hr hot showers, clean fresh linen and daily cleaning. Room price includes a daily basic breakfast. Tea and coffee is free all day. The backpackers has a self cater kitchen, and communal dining/lounge area, or guests can take advantage of the large selection of cafes and restaurants in close proximity. We also have computers with internet access and we have a large selection of DVDi s and a book exchange. Our safe, clean hostel has security lockers in all the rooms, and the building is secure with 24 hour swipe access, so no lockout.
By Car: Driving along the F3 Freeway, take the Wyong Rd Exit (about 63kms) and turn right onto Wyong Road. Drive through 15 roundabouts (about 12 kmi s), then on the next roundabout take the first exit onto The Entrance Road. Drive approximately 3.7km to 56 The Entrance Road. There if public parking directly behind us on Theatre lane.
Public Transport: CityRail runs regular services to the Central Coast departing approx every half hour from Sydney and every hour from Newcastle with travel time approx 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Sydney: Catch the Newcastle and Central Coast train (CityRail) from central station Sydney to Tuggerah (just over 1.5 hrs). Take the 26 Bus (Red Bus Service) from Tuggerah to the Entrance bus terminal (approx 1hr). The Entrance Backpackers is 150m from the bus terminal. Walk up Torrens Ave, turn left on Fairview Ave and walk to the end where it meets the Entrance Road. The Entrance Backpackers is located right at this junction, upstairs and next door to the cinema. (approx 2 minutes).

Take the Newcastle and Central Coast train to Tuggerah station. Then as per train above.
