People have described our 8 and 10-day whitewater rafting tours of the Franklin River as one of the most amazing experiences of their life.
This could be the reason why.
Your days are exhilarating and awe inspiring as you go with the flow down one of the purest rivers on the planet.
Your nights are spent camping under star-studded skies at a riverbank site in one of
the last untouched and untamed areas of wilderness. There you share the day's
adventures, a delicious meal that includes food from some of Tasmania's leading
artisan producers and the bond that comes from experiences such as this.

For us, life just doesn't get any better.
Typical Daykeyboard_double_arrow_up
The average day on the river begins with a wholesome breakfast and a fresh cup of coffee. We break camp, pack up all the equipment and load the rafts to be on the for a early start of 9am.
Each day offers a variety of stunning scenery and challenging whitewater as well as portages when the rapids are deemed to dangerous to raft.
We reach our next camp some time in the afternoon unload and relax for "happy hour" usually a selection of fine cheese and a cup of tea, perhaps a glass of wine for those that are that way inclined.
Your guides will begin preparing a delicious meal and after enjoying dinner with your fellow adventurers we nestle down for the evening taking comfort in knowing that tomorrow will be another great adventure.
