Typical Day
On our journey down to Soufriere you will notice many fishing villages that were once occupied by Amerindians. Choose from many land adventures including Plantation tours, Zip lining, jungle biking, botanical garden, waterfall tour, drive-in-volcano tour. Experience simple living as you take a walk around the town of Soufriere and have lunch at a family operated restaurant or Lader's dasheene restaurant overlooking the Pitons.
Snorkel-ling under the Pitons is a must or you can sunbath on our deck. We have miniature organic coconut oils on board for the perfect tan, which you can also keep as a reminder of the time spent aboard our vessel. We cruise at your desired speed
The experience will not be complete without a visit to Marigot bay. Historically and culturally significant, St. Lucia's Marigot Bay was a strategic base during the wars between the British and French. The British fleet hid from the French in the mangrove, and where the Germans took their submarines during World War 2. This bay is a natural safe harbor and many yachts take refuge here during the hurricane season and more recently a favored location for film shoots. You may recognize the bay from the original Dr. Doolittle, Fire Power with Sophia Loren, or Water with Michael Caine. You will also have an opportunity to meet Alvin who's famous for crafting birds, hats and other small items from the coconut leaves.
Your taste buds and thirst will be satisfied as we serve island treats like tamarind balls, guava cheese, plantain chips and other local finger foods during the trip. Our deck bar is stocked with chilled seasonal fruits and local juices. Feel free to blend some local fruits and make your very own special cocktail.
