The history of the Hotel Londres started during the decade of 1920 when it was built to become a hotel for tourists. In 1964, Don Pedro Ilic with his wife Adela Dumand bought the Hotel Residencial Londres to maintain the traditions and characteristics born with the beautiful Barrio Paris Londres, and, along with this area, converting itself into a national monument.
All rooms are equiped with cable TV, private bathroom, telephone and electric heating. The rooms have broadband connection of Internet (for your notebook), included in the price of the room.
Based on local tax laws, Chilean citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Chile) must pay an additional fee of 19%.
Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice will also be charged the additional 19%, regardless of the length of their stay in Chile.

Directions
How to get there: By car or taxi from the airport, it takes 20 minutes by the north highway Costanera Norte, or 45 minutes through downtown Santiago. There is also a private transportation service “TransVip†that can take you directly from the airport to the hotel (tickets are sold inside the airport). From the bus terminal, using the metro to the station Universidad de Chile and taking the south exit.
