International Travelers' Hostel offers accommodation to international travelers in the holy city of Varanasi, India. The whole set-up has been carefully designed keeping in mind the ideal backpacker. From the conceptual level itself the hostel has attempted to offer budget-travelers visiting Varanasi from all over the world an accommodation wherein they can relax in a homely & quiet environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city!
The hostel offers a private double bedroom, a private triple bedroom and a dormitory for 5 occupants on the ground floor of our house. 2 shared bathrooms (with attached toilets) are available with 24x7 hot & cold shower facility.
The hostel is always trying their best to create an environment somewhere between a 'hostel' and a 'guest house' so you can have the best of both.
If you are coming by train, and if you are (and most likely you are) arriving at Varanasi Junction Railway Station:
Get off the train. Come out of the railway station. Go right on the street (this street which will look like a crowded city street is actually the national highway stretch that crosses Varanasi). Then exit the highway to go into the city on the left and ask someone the way to the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University (or just Vidyapeeth University). Hereon you have to keep going straight. When you reach gate no. 2 of the uni on your LHS, you will find an alley on your RHS. Get in there and ask someone for me! I'm about 100m into the alley on the left.
International Travellers' Hostel is like 5-7 minutes walking distance and 2 minutes drive away from Varanasi Junction Railway Station.
If you're flying into Varanasi:
Well, get out of the airport, and get a taxi to the above directed uni gate.
