Mizuhokan is an inexpensive hotel conveniently located only 4min walk from JR Iseshi train station, and 7min walk from Kintetsu Ujiyamada station. It takes only 4min to walk to Geku, one of the two main shrines of the famous Ise Grand Shrine.
The hotel offers simple Japanese style accommodation. The guest rooms are all Japanese style. The air-conditioned rooms have tatami (woven-straw) floors and futon beds. Some rooms have their own private bathrooms and toilets, including bathtubs and amenities. Guests looking for more affordable accommodation can choose a room with shared bathrooms and toilets. All rooms have a tea maker and an LCD TV.
The hotel has a traditional public bath where one can take a very relaxing Japanese style bath, privately or with families and friends. There are towels and hairdryers in the undressing room right outside the bathroom. The bathroom has amenities such as shampoo, rinse and soap.
Guests can choose to stay with no meals, or with delicious and healthy meals cooked by the Okami (landlady). Please make a reservation if you wish to dine at the hotel.

Location/Area:
The famous historical Ise Grand Shrine is one of Shinto's holiest and most important sites. It is composed of a large number of shrines centered on 2 major shrines, Naiku and Geku. Geku is only a 4-minute walk from Mizuhokan, and Naiku is a 20-minute drive. Kawasaki Shōnin-Kan (Kawasaki merchant hall), where one can enjoy eating or drinking at the characteristically remodeled restaurants and cafes, or shopping in the general stores, is about a 20-minute walk away.

From JR Nagoya Station to JR Taki Station, by Wide-View Nanki express train, 74min.
From JR Taki Station to JR Iseshi Station, by Sangu Line, 20min.

From Kyoto:
From Kyoto Station to Yamato-Yagi Station, by Kintetsu Limited Express train, 47min.
From Yamato-Yagi Station to Iseshi Station, by Kintetsu Rapid Liner Express train, 71min.

From Osaka:
Take the subway to Namba Station.
From Namba to Yamato-Saidaiji, by Kintetsu-Nara Line Rapid Express train, 32min.
From Yamato-Saidaiji to Iseshi, by Kintetsu Limited Express train, 89min.

From Iseshi Station:
We are just about 3 minute walk from Iseshi Station. Get out at the main exit of JR Iseshi Station and walk left for about 300m. You will come to a crossroad where you see a flower shop on the left side, and a green color guesthouse on the right side. Turn right where the guesthouse is, and walk for about 50m, and you will reach our hotel.
Or, you can walk straight on Geku Sando Street for about 230m. Turn left at a jewelry shop, turn left again at an eel restaurant and walk for 50m. You will see the hotel on the right side of the street.
