1. SWEET ISland tour

An exhilarating journey through the trails of time! Join an indefatigable group of travellers in their quest to discover Antigua’s best kept treasures. Drive through the heart of Antigua en route to Dow’s Hill Interpretation Centre.
Along the way you’ll pass charming villages, the ruins of the area’s famed windmills, old churches, and not forgetting the welcoming Antiguan people.

As you approach the Dow’s Hill Interpretation Centre, you’ll notice that the architecture takes on a more modern appearance. Originally an 18th-century residence for the General Officer Commanding of the British Navy, this cultural centre of the island has been newly redesigned. The views continue when you reach Block House and Shirley Heights Lookout. From this area, picture-perfect views of Nelson’s Dockyard National Park and the English Harbour can be seen.

A short scenic drive brings you to Nelson’s Dockyard, the only Georgian naval dock in the world and a unique Antiguan landmark. Although this is the Caribbean’s premier example of a British naval yard, it was actually constructed by Antiguans. Your tour concludes at the Cooper and Lumber Hotel where you will have time to explore at you own leisure after your guided tour.
