Typical Day

A Day of YOUR choosing, and at YOUR pace.
Wake up any time you want. Ask for herbal tea to be served to you in bed, or out in the small ozone-heavy garden where you are entertained by friendly creatures of the 'wild' variety. Wash up, have a leisurely breakfast with your hosts, then set out on one of the charming eco cultural tours designed and guided by your host. You'll get the chance of interacting enroute with local communities/artisans, could receive an ultra crash course in Indian culture or Hindi per courtesy your host cum tour leader, witness a temple ritual, find yourself in the thick of a local fair or festival, catch a folk performance, have the possibility of supporting the local environment and culture, as well as some of the communities, livelihoods and dying traditions associated with each theme-based itinerary. Return late evening, filled to the brim with happiness and well-being. Shower. Watch TV or chat with your hosts. Enjoy authentic regional cuisine, leisurely. Have a cup of herbal tea. Then get into bed eagerly looking forward to leaping out of it the next morning for another adventurous, memorable, responsible, healthy and experiential day!

Age range, type of group

Primarily for women of all age groups, and couples (middle-aged and seniors)who are place-friendly, people-friendly, culture-friendly, and hanker for something out of the ordinary to rejuvenate them. Small groups of travelers (any age group) can also be accommodated.

The tours and activities use, as their base, a delightfully clean, green and tastefully-furnished homestay run by friendly, well-traveled and knowledgeable Indian hosts. Furnished in rustic, ethnic colours, the homestay serves organic, vegetarian Indian meals and a variety of herbal teas, has a small garden that is home to birds, squirrels, butterflies, plants and trees, a big terrace (where one can fall asleep under the stars and awaken to the natural sounds of nature), rooms to let and modern amenities.
You have the option of sleeping on the wide terrace (great for small groups of travelers), which has a room with bath cum toilet. You also have the option of comfortable, spacious rooms, tastefully furnished in earthy colours, and with attached bath and all modern amenities including a desert cooler. The homestay is impeccably clean.
