Join us in celebrating Hawaii's indigenous psychotropic plants. Comparable to South American "ayahuasca" of the Amazon rain forest, our entheogenic brew induces a spiritual experience aimed at, literally, "becoming one with Divine."
Muaisa Hale Pule ("As I Aum" Sanctuary) is an upcountry Hawaii pace of refuge with neither walls nor religious dogma; it is an officially recognized 501(c)(3) Chapter of New Haven Native American Church (NHNAC). Our shamans have been researching ayahuasca and studying indigenous Hawaiian trees and plants for over 20 years, and we are duly authorized to conduct our affairs in the State of Hawaii.
This is to invite you to visit us on the Big Island of Hawaii to enjoy and celebrate the native magical plants that live here in the middle of the world's largest ocean, the ocean named after Peace. These psychoactive plant teachers have been growing in the surrounding Pacific jungles and have been breathing, propagating, rooting themselves and contributing to indigenous sacred rituals and ceremonies since ancient times.
Furthermore, depending on where you are in the world, it is often more convenient -- and a heck of a lot more relaxing -- to come to Hawaii than it is to travel to South America. What better place to connect to All That IS and to experience a greater sense of "being" and "contentment" than in the Hawaiian islands?
"Ayahuasca" is the term used to describe a home-brewed tea made from 2 or more psychoactive plants that grow in the Amazon rain forest of South America. Hawaii and the Pacific Islands, however, have their own set of indigenous entheogens (psychotropic plants that induce a spiritual experience aimed at, literally, "becoming one with God"). The Master Teaching Plants we work with are comparable to South American ayahuasca and have been used for thousands of years in sacred rituals, healing practices, and spiritual ceremonies in Hawaii and this part of the world.
Where South American ayhuausca is illegal to consume and/or distribute in Hawaii, in most countries of the world, and in the majority of States of the Union, the plant teachers we work with on the Big Island of Hawaii are psychotropic, psychoactive, entheogenic (literally, "becoming divine within") -- and they are 100% legal. These are Master Plants that have not yet been scheduled by the FDA or the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and they are not being suppressed by law enforcement.
Age range, type of group
Our ceremonies do not attempt to imitate or recreate Peru. Rather, they are a ceremonial opportunity, led by an authentic, recognized shaman of the Lakota tradition, a born shaman who personally prepares a psychotropic brew for people to interact with the entheogenic plant teachers of Hawaii and the Southwest Pacific Rim -- on location, in the plants' native habitat.
Ceremony is offered at 5:30 PM on Sunday. (Minimum circle size = 2, maximum = 8.)
• Arrive on island at least a day or two ahead of ceremony to relax and settle in.
• Show up on property on the day of ceremony between 5:00 - 5:30 PM
• Ceremony starts at 5:30 PM and lasts for 3 1/2 to 4 hours
• At approx 9::30 PM, a simple s soup is served along with a ceremonial closing and group sharing
• Next day (optional) 2-hours private session with Shaman.
All participants must provide proof of being 18 years of age or older.

WHAT OTHERS HAVE SAID

"I didn't feel that different from how I feel in the opening rounds with ayahuasca. Colors became a little more saturated, and I began to feel less like an intruder, more at one and at peace with all of the nature around me. I felt like I was vibrating and somehow blending in with everything around me."
-- A regular ayahuasca participant on his first experience of traditional Hawaiian plants
"This brew took a very definite hold of me in a way I hadn't quite experienced before. It didn't have that heavy, ayahuasca, physical sensation; so it was clearer than ayahuasca.
The jungle around me took on a beautiful, crisp glow. Things seemed to pulse and flow in a rhythm that I was part of.The insects and frogs chirping away seemed to speak a language that I could almost understand."
-- A seasoned teaching plant explorer after his first encounter with sacred Hawaiian plants
