Rose Inn - Map

The Rose Inn is located halfway between New York City and Niagara Falls, 10 miles north of Ithaca, NY on the east-side of Caguga Lake, and 9 minutes from the Ithaca Airport.

From Ithaca Airport: Right on Warren Road (away from Ithaca) 1.3 miles. Left on Hillcrest Road 1.5 miles to the end of the road. Right onto Triphammer Rd. (which joins Rt. 34.) North 4.4 miles on right.

From Rochester, Buffalo and Toronto: NYS Thruway Exit #41 (Waterloo), right at 414 S 3/10 mile to 318 E, turn left and go 4.2 miles to 5 & 20, turn left and go 2.1 miles to NY 90 S, turn right and go 28.8 miles to NY 34 South, turn right and go 6.9 miles. The inn will be on your left.

From Syracuse: Take Interstate 81 S approximately 30 miles to Exit 12 – sign says Homer-Cortland-Ithaca. Turn left at stoplight onto Rte 281 S (at the end of the exit). At third stoplight, turn right onto Rte. 222 W. Follow Rte 222 to Main St. in Groton (Rte. 38) and turn left (S) driving for one long block to Spring St. Turn right (W) and follow Spring St. out of Groton. It becomes Spring St. Extension; follow it to the end at town Line Road and turn left. Follow this road to the end at Rte. 34 (road comes to a "T") and turn right. The inn is the first property on the right on Rte 34 N.

From Binghamton, NYC, PA, CT: Take 17W through the Catskills to Binghamton. There 17W and I-81 will merge. Follow I-81N towards Syracuse. Follow I-81N 15 miles to Exit 8 (Whitney Point). Get onto NY 79W, which will take you to Ithaca. In downtown Ithaca, turn right onto Aurora St (1 mile) and follow it to Lincoln St. Turn right and go to "T'. Turn left onto Lake Street. Follow Lake Street and it will become Rte 34 N, as you pass under the Rte 13 overpass. Continue on 34N to "T" and stoplight (6 miles) in Lansing. Go right a ½ mile till the road forks (34N and 34B part here) and keep to the left on 34N. The Inn is another 3.5 miles on the right hand side, just north of Munson Road.
