Working Ranch Adventure in Mexico The real Mexico Nov 16, 2007 08:55 am This is what we were looking for. In many years of travelling through Mexico we always wondered what it would be like to be part of the little villages that make up most of the country. Moonbeam Ranch gave us that experience. The horses were great, the house nice, not fancy but well equipped, but the real show here is the chance to ride into the village, have a beer with the folks. The "staff", Gala our full time cook/ cleaner/helper and David, the cowhand were great about introducing us to the local folks and after a few days we felt we belonged. Our lack of Spanish was a bit hard, but inspiring to learn more!
