Castellare di Tonda is a privately owned guest ranch nestled between Florence, Pisa and Siena in Tuscany, Italy. Renowned for its spectacular scenery, fine food, wine, and enviable culture, Castellare di Tonda has something for everyone. 12 tastefully decorated farmhouses located throughout 280 hectares of vineyards, forest and olive groves offer clients incredible 360 degree views of the Pisan/Florentine hills.

Non riders can enjoy cooking classes, wine tasting, mountain bikes, pottery classes and tennis - or perhaps just enjoy lounging by the pool under the legendary Tuscan sun.

For horse riders the Chianti wine region offers varied and challenging trails for all levels of rider. The soft Tufo sand trails allow the opportunity to enjoy long canters even during the dry summer months when the ground elsewhere is hard. At Castellare di Tonda, there are 52 different horses with some gentle enough for beginners and others more spirited horses suited to experienced riders. The speed is mixed, and experienced riders can be guaranteed some lovely canters on each ride, as well as interesting mixed terrain.

The estate has its own wellness center and spa to relax in after long days in the saddle. Two expert massage therapists are available to offer a selection of relaxing treatments to resident clients.
