Relax @ The Eco- B&B Yoga/Foodie Retreat w/spa A relaxing retreat on the North Shore Jan 30, 2010 01:19 am I was looking for a quiet, relaxing place to get some R&R that was eco-friendly and I made a great choice in Cab Spate's Alternative Green B&B. The owner, Cab has been living in Haleiwa for over 15 yrs and he knows of all the great places to go in and around Haleiwa. Check out Cafe Haleiwa, where they serve banana pancakes to die for. Singer, Jack Johnson lives in Haleiwa, and it is said that he loves the cakes here as well. Waimea Falls Park is a must see! A walk through this park to the falls is paradise. Cab also has several bikes available to get around town if you choose not to rent a car. Cab also offers a pick up service from the airport if you want to forgo the expensive car rental. The bus service is great, it circles the entire island and bikes are allowed on board too. My month long stay was definately well worth it, and I would highly recommend this B&B experience in Oahu country!
