The rooms are all named after the spices used in all Peranakan dishes. Furniture used in the rooms, dining area, reception are of antique usually found in a Peranakan home. The owners Chris, Cindy, Andrew & Wendy are very friendly & hospitable o all their guess as though we had known them for ages. The breakfast served were Nasi lemak one of the best I tried, Nyonya Nood;es & Peranakan Cakes (Kuih-Muih), lastly the price is reasonable for all what's being said above. Chris has a collection of antique Peranakan furniture, ornaments and other costume used by the Peranakans ladies of the past...so see to appreciate it if you are an antique lover. Cyclamen Cottage will definitely be our favored hotel when we go to Malacca the next time.
