We purchased our 200 year old village house on beautiful, unspoilt Vis in November 2003. It was badly dilapidated and required gutting, from new roof downwards. It was originally on 3 floors with a roof-space, and 4 bedrooms.
Whilst contemplating the new plans a chum gave us some good advice - "You can never have too FEW bedrooms". We now have a blissfully comfortable layout of 2 double bedrooms and a through, airy, open plan salon overlooked by a gallery with a fantastic view of the bay from the balcony. Magic!
Having I got used to retirement from my business consultancy I decided that the joys of Vis out of season have been a well kept secret for too long. And so this project was borne.
