Maine Coast Vacations Scenic White Rocks Cottage July 2011 at White Rocks Jun 28, 2012 04:19 pm We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The accomodations were lovely - beautifully decorated rooms, kitchen well stocked with needed appliances, etc (bring your own food of course), fabulous porches - especially the back screen-enclosed porch with the view of the river. Birds, otters, fish, boats... We didn't turn the TV on once! We drove up to the Saltwater Farms Cooking School for a delicious dinner, took a puffin cruise, visited several of the beaches in the area, hiked to the Squirrel Point Lighthouse AND spent four hours at the Musical Wonder House in Wiscasset. The Farnsworth Museum and Wyeth Center in Rockland was a special treat. And the Georgetown Historical Society was a perfect gem of a museum. And of course we really enjoyed Maine lobster, Maine crab, Maine cheese and Maine BEER!
