food was awesome!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Colonial House Inn this past weekend and we had such a great time. I wanted to find the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway and we found it here. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to everywhere we wanted to go for shopping and even gave us a tour of the other rooms so we could see what the rest of the Inn looks like. We stayed in room 204 and the room was very clean and comfy. Dont even get me started on the food! The food was awesome! Compliments to the Chef. We will be back again.

We hated to leave

We hated to leave the Cape and return to our real lives and jobs in Ct. Mondays are always hard, but this Monday was made more difficult by fond memories of last weekend at the Colonial House Inn. I found myself daydreaming about Baked Stuffed Shrimp on a bed of rice, the Seafood Special, the Chicken Marsala, the baked breads etc. in the a.m., the quiet sitting porch and the yellow daffodils, the canopy bed in RM 107. The Inn has a special kind of atmospere that we appreciate, if only for a while. Thanks for a wonderful time! Chris Sarnecky
