  • The vacation you dream of could be here, mine was!

This place is fantastic. I have traveled around the world and to much of the Pacific but this place takes the cake! It is located in the middle of several key travel locations that I can't imagine missing. To name a few there's the black sand beaches (Punalu'u), South Point (tremendous cliffs that drop to the ocean, the southernmost tip of the US and where Polynesians first arrived), Kahuku (the newer side to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park), volcanic eruptions (Kilauea side of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park), etc. Make sure to try the locally produced coffee, it's excellent and was actually served at Obama's inaugural ball! The owner, Julia Neal, can set you up with local Hawaiian coffee farm tours - some of which have traditional Imu's (underground oven) that are still used today for Luau's and weddings. This place is not overpriced - it's actually pretty cheap - especially when you realize you are getting a complete cottage with the deal (full kitchen and all). Ask them to cater for you for at least one meal - it's all fresh and locally produced. Man, they can cook! If you want to get to know Hawaii's culture, history and natural wonders... look no further. Did I mention that there is a green sand beach on the Big Island? Ask Julia how to get there. She is very knowledgeable about the area and can set up anything you want to do for a really good price. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable cottages with all the accommodations you could ask for! Definitely my favorite. You could even host a wedding, retreat, or reunion here - it's that great. Take a chance, check it out - I guarantee you'll fall in love!
