I was featured as one of "The Next" by Mainebiz magazine in 2008 for our groundbreaking work in alternative energy on a commercial scale here at the Inn. The ten "Next-ers" are people shaping the future of Maine's economy, and it was an honor to be selected by Mainebiz. I have been innkeeping at Maple Hill Farm for 17 years and it is a labor of love since we are open year-round and seven days a week, also hosting conferences, meetings, weddings, etc. for groups from 2 to 300 including custom catering and full bar service right here on the farm. We have a farm animal menagerie and hay the fields to keep them fed.
