Turisaven Beyond Expectations - Reviews

Four of us took a full 3 day tour in August of the Quito area including Mindo. Our driver was Patricio in and our Guide was Carlos. We want to go back so we can take another tour with these wonderful gentleman. I am well traveled and I have to say that this was the best tour ever. We stayed at incredible hotels: the first being a butterfly conservatory and the second being a very elegant sheep from front the 1600's. Carlos kept us very busy: bird watching at 5am, zip lining, the amazing market in Octavallo, rafting, a visit to a master weavers home, buying roses-$2 for 25 roses, The Ecuador Museum. I know that there was more. Every thing was included in the low price: fabulous meals, snacks, admissions, an extra nature guide in Mindo. Oh, we also spent time at a chocolate "factory" complete with tastings. This was not a cookie cutter tour, we did what interested us. My cousin, her son, daughter in law and I were so sad when this was over. Carlos and Patricio were beyond wonderful. Thank you Roberto for setting up this wonderful experience.
