The best deal

Most people think the best deal is an all inclusive. But, I am here to tell you, if you want the Jamaican experience, you need to stay and one of the locally own establishment. Villa Mora will give you that experience. You will have the same lady clean your room every day, the owner Monica will assist your with all your needs, Vin takes care of the property and he will chop coconut and pick any fruit baring from the trees on the property you want to taste. You will have plenty of places to find food to eat. Alfred’s have both Jamaican and American food, stay all day and swim, drink and eat. They have a live band Sunday and Wednesday night. Check out Sweet Spot, they have the best fried chicken and also try their cucumber juice.
In the evening there is a Rasta fellow you will find at the front gate, everyone call him Step Aside, he have the beat jerk chicken on the strip. Look for the glass boat call Captain Moses near Alfred’s and ask for Lobster (Dwayne) if you want to go snorkeling, jet ski, Para sailing etc… tell him Alanna sent you!!! One thing to remember everything is negotiable on the beach, don’t jump at the first price. If you see the guy walking up and down the beach selling slices of cake, trust me and call him over and try a slice, his brother is the baker, my family requested banana cake and the next day we had banana cake, then rum cake….
You don’t need to drive anywhere once you get to the Villa, everything is in walking distance. Have a good pair of walking shoe. Any excursion ask Monica to arrange a ride for you. The beach is a 5 min walk across the street and go through Bamboo Café, they make good drinks. All the local bars and restaurants have beach chair you can use. Just get up in the morning put on your swim gear cross the street and paradise awaits you. Enjoy!!! I will be back next year.
