There was maintenance going on all around us. The smell and the noise was in our room. One day we lost water for a couple of hours. The buffet was the only thing open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant was closed the entire time. I would not return and if I knew in advance I would have cancelled my vacation.
The hotel only had two places to eat. there was construction everywhere. not all but most of the staff were rude and uncooperative. i stayed there before and enjoyed myself ...

I stayed there before and enjoyed myself but after this I won't go back. I had no hot water for two days and then at dinner time one night , they turned the water off and told us they were working on it.ther were two people who did a very good job(Wendy at the grill and Oraine at the bar). the rest of the people acted like they didn't want to be there

Been here amost 24 hours. Got my All-Inclusive wrist band on, but my room fridge is still empty of water/sodas after having called and visited front desk several times. Mentioned empty water dispenser in fitness room several times, it's still empty :(
Food is pretty good, great deal (i think) for the money since it's buffets....fill your plate all you want :)

Horrible front desk. They were slow, impatient, rude, and overall lacking in customer service. Upon check-in, they couldn't find proof of my purchasing all-inclusive; luckily I had emailed it to myself and was able to produce a receipt (another of my friends who also purchased the same were forced to repay to get this - be warned). I couldn't get my room until 6pm after they kept trying to keep telling me it's not ready - how can that be? Check-out is noon! Finally after insisting on speaking to the manager, I got a room but only after setting my foot down. On a different evening, I was trying to call room-to-room but to no avail. I called the front desk to ask what the issue may be and they said the phones did not work because of the rain... "uh, really? Then how are we talking now?". Completely inept. Other negatives is the entire wait-staff. One yelled at me because I finally got up to grab my friends menus after waiting 10mins for anyone to serve the table. Really? Every one of them looked like they hated their lives, except the bartenders. They were the only ones who half-decently provided anything remotely close to timely service.
If you are going to drink and stay near the hotel, getting all-inclusive is essential. I thought they would go weaker on the alcohol content since it was already paid for but it was the reverse! More like 3/4th alcohol, 1/4th mixer. Great deal if you enjoy imbibing during your vacation. Also worth the All-inclusive price was the food. It was certainly not exceptional, but it included the buffet breakfast and dinner as well food at the other restaurant. Be forewarned, however, that you should be at the buffet at LEAST 30mins before closing. I didn't have breakfast until our last day as every time the food was already taken away well before the closing time (ironically, the wait-staff was well ahead of time and pace when trying to close up shop).
The room was decent; nothing nice but relatively clean. Request the main part of the hotel if possible since the other rooms are located far away. The hotel is close to a few offsite locations that provided entertainment when we wanted to leave the resort. Buy water! The hours to buy water are few (to include offsite) and there is no room service or water fountains (not that I would trust it).
