We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath place which had all the comforts of home. A little kitchen to cook if we wanted with all the pots and pans as well.Of course we didnt though! We were close to everything. Right next door was the train station or subway which was very nice and convenient. About a 15 minute walk to the Harbour. Paddy's Market with cheap souvineirs open Wed-Sun only about a 5 minute walk. Mcdonalds, Subway,7-11, Gloria's Coffee right across the street. Many shopping places nearby. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Loved the apartment living!!

The hotel is located right next door to Central Station. I had reserved a studio, but was upgraded to a one bedroom apartment. This was a fantastic surprise. The living room had a dining table for four, fully stocked kitchen including refrigerator and stove. The bathroom was equipped with a bath/shower and a washer/dryer located in a closet. The bedroom had a king sized bed (moderate comfort) with a safe and iron/ironing board. There were old small televisions in both the living room and bedroom, although the channel selections were quite limited. My room had large windows overlooking Lee and George streets, but noise was not a factor. Everything was clean although beginning to have a slightly used feeling (tiny spots of mildew in the shower, small carpet stains). The staff at check in/out were very helpful and friendly. Check out time was 10am, but they extended that by one hour for me and also stored my bags for several hours as well. The hotel also had a small but nice outdoor pool. The fitness facility was located in a small room and only had a treadmill, cycling machine and a few free weights. The location is relatively safe and located fairly close to Chinatown (5 min) and Darling Harbour (10 min). A walk to Circular Quay and the Opera house would take about 20 minutes. There is a Global Gossip internet shop a block away on George Street. Restaurant selection in the immediate area is not great and there are no supermarkets in the area. There are a few 7/11s next to the hotel. Paddy's Market is only a few blocks away, great place for souvenir shopping.
Overall, I was greatly pleased with this hotel and would stay here again when visiting Sydney.
