The room was very clean and the staff and their service was outstanding. The facility was within walking distance to downtown Hamilton so that was a plus. We really enjoyed the outside seating areas that were scattered around the grounds and we made good use of them especially in the evenings. The intent for out trip to Bermuda was just to get away and relax and if we got to see the island then that would be a plus. We couldn't be happier with the facility and we accomplished our relaxation goal plus we had plenty of time to tour the island.

The Royal Palms Hotel was very clean, very nicely decorated and conveniently located. We would walk to the central bus terminal (about a 10-minute walk) in the morning and get anywhere we wanted by bus. We could also walk to many restaurants and shops in Hamilton, Botanical Garden and Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art.
People who want to spend their whole time in Bermuda on the beach may want to stay at one of the hotels by the beach, but since we were there in December and wanted to explore the entire island, staying at this hotel made very good sense.
People working there were extremely friendly and helpful and they created such a warm atmosphere in this wonderful guesthouse. Unlike a chain hotel, it felt like I was coming home every night. I normally stay away from B&B as rooms tend to be small and there is not much privacy, but this hotel came with both the cozy atmosphere and personable service of a B&B and the big rooms and privacy of a hotel. The complimentary breakfast was very good, too.
Bottom line: I would highly recommend it to anyone who travels to Bermuda.

It was better than I expected. All the reviews I read were excellent but, I wasnt expecting them to exceed my expectations. The pictures of the rooms on their website dont do them justice. I expected my room to be nice but, plain. The only way I can describe it is that it is peaceful and charming. It is different than a typical hotel room. There is ceramic tile throughout the room except for the sleeping area. In one part of the room the ceiling is a cathedral ceiling. The bathroom is entirely in ceramic including the walls. The room has a granite counter top with a small sink, small refrigerator, microwave plates, silverware, and anything you might need.
The landscaping is beautiful with the mature landscaping. The hotel is right next to the road on a small piece of land according to U.S. standards but, it feels so secluded. The property actually feels like a resort out in the middle of nowhere. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate you. They are the warmest people I have ever met. They didnt even seem pretentious.
Even by U.S. standards their rates are an excellent value. I would rather stay here then a Ritz Carlton in the U.S. They dont have bellmen or turn down service but, it doesnt even matter because the place is so pleasant. There might be other places in Bermuda that are just as nice or maybe even nicer however, I would not think about staying anywhere else if I come again.
