We were very happy overall with our 5 night stay at the elbow beach. The rate was great as it was in April before high season. The food and drink there is outrageously expensive, but hey, that's Bermuda!

Elbow Beach was beautiful. I loved sitting on the patio in the morning and looking at the beautiful water and plants. I was surprised that internet was not free. In-room coffee is always a plus.

We stayed in one of the garden view renovated cottages. I'm not sure how they could call the room renovated, they certainly didn't bother to put in a new mattress, I could feel all of the springs coming through! I did not expect such a substandard mattress. I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet and covering myself with a sheet. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, I was told the hotel was full, and perhaps they could change the mattress. No one bothered to follow up. I very much doubt that I would risk staying at this resort again.
