On February 11, 2013，we went to visit downtown Rio , afraid of being robbed, we put cash & credit card in the room safebox. But In Ushuaia, Argentina, on February 16 and 17, we have received bank sent SMS alerts, inform us just brush credit card consumption in Brazil! Cause we are very surprised and immediately make an international call to the bank and told that is not our consumption!The bank told I lost more than 7000 dollars!!My friend lost 1400 dollars!!Our bank is investigating!Other times, we carry these credit card, part of the card is not used.Therefore we conclude that credit card stolen personal information in this hotel.We are very disappointed with the hotel security!!!The hotel has been listed as the blacklist! And tell my friends, can't stay in this hotel!!!
The hotel is charming, provide an excellent breakfast. also you can dinne there with many alternatives from buffet. the location is also fine, close to the beach, amenities and shops.

Good location, right across the street from Copacabana Beach. We paid extra for a ocean view room but, be prepared, you could see the oceanview through a tiny opening between buildings. We had to pay extra for an in-room safe to store our vauables (Reals per day). The included breakfast was good. The room and price were decent. The top floor swimming pool and bar was very small but a great view of Rio. Exchanging money at the hotel was $1 US to $1.5 Reals but if you wanted to cash a travelers cheque, it was $1US to $1.3 Reals. Would stay here again.
