A good hotel for the price. It is close to shopping and restaruants

Have stayed at this Travelodge many times over the past 10 years so I've seen the upgrades incrementally happening. The reception area is clean with a friendly staff; nice continental breakfast though the room seems like an afterthought. The facility is in a small chunk of property on McCleod and sometimes you get the feeling of smallness such as the fitness room.

Convenient location with easy access to downtown Calgary, the hotel suffered from facility disrepair (broken ice machine, walls in need of paint) and an unappetizing complementary breakfast for an overall below average stay. Helpful staff and proximity to restaurants and a comedy club.

This hotel is a large operation, but friendly and well organised. Air conditioning worked well (a necessity in the summer), and the indoor pool was clean and comfortable. Adequate parking, and a good (albeit typical) complimentary breakfast. A comedy club (Comedy Cave) is located on the premises, for which free passes were offered--although we didn't have a chance to catch a show. Our loss--maybe next time. Location is on a busy street, but that makes for easy access, and noise was not an issue at night. Would definitely stay there again. Thumbs up to Calgary as well---a friendly, affordable city with people who know how to drive and are courteous to drivers from outside the area.
