    Had stayed there many years ago. Was impressed with the quality of hotel and staff then. Found it to be equally excellent this time. Breakfast worth the price. Room very clean and quiet. Being close to train station a bonus. Would not hesitate to book there again.

    We just completed a very pleasant stay at this hotel in late Dec 28-30 2008. They had restored and rennovated the rooms with great success! The lobby is now smoke free! A real plus in Zurich as the smoking is almost everywhere by the locals! We had not stayed at this hotel for the last three years because of the general decline in the rooms and service so it was encouraging to the the owners step up and restore this grand hotel. I'd like to see them include breakfast in the room pricing since the add on breakfast charges are very pricy. (approx 38 SFR per person) We declined to eat there because of this. You cannot beat this location..literally steps from the Banhof onb one of the greatest streets in the world.. We will be back..we just won't eat there.
