We reserved 2 twin beds through this site and had a confirmation email specifying that's what we would receive. Unfortunately, when we arrived they had given our room with 2 beds away bc there was some glitch that indicated only 1 adult would be in the room. They didn't have another twin room available so we were placed in a king room for one night and then moved the next night. Aggravating but mgmt compensated us for the error. Just CONFIRM directly with the hotel if you require 2 beds.
Other than that, the hotel was wonderful. It is a beautiful building. The king bed was very comfortable. The twin beds were hard though. The room was lovely, had a great view of the London Eye/Thames and was in a great location. Walking distance to many sites and only a few steps from Embankment tube stop. There is a 24 hour market between the Embankment tube & the hotel. I thought the first floor room facing the Thames was a little noisy. The 5th floor room facing the Thames was very quiet though.
Apparently the mini fridge has a sensor, so if you move their items to keep your own drinks, cool, charges will appear on your bill. They will remove the charges but it's just an annoyance.
We would stay again in a heartbeat!
Room was large and very nice. Hotel location was perfect for us.

Room was much larger than expected. We had stayed here several years ago and room then was tiny. Room was very nice, clean and with everything we needed. Staff was wonderful, very helpful and courteous. Hotel location was perfect for us within walking distamce of Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, The London Eye, The London Aquarium, Trafalgar Square, Parliament and more. Also near St. James park which we really enjoyed. We will stay here again and highly recommend this hotel .

Visited London for the first time with family and friends. We found this hotel throuigh a search and could not have been more pleased. Hotel and staff were top notch. Hotel is clean and all staff is as helpful as can be. By the end of our 8 day stay we felt like we were leaving friends and not hotel staff. It is centrally located to a tube stattion but you can also easily walk to many of London's sights and attractions. May cost a bit more than some out lying hotels but when you factor in ther time and expense of getting in to London each day this hotel is more than worth it. I will go back to London one day and I will stay at the Royal Horseguards when I do.

We stayed at the Royal Horseguards for 4 nights. It was a beautiful hotel, with a great location. Walking distance to the tube and many other sights. The staff was all friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, even though it was a little on the smaller side (but all hotels in Europe tend to be that way). The heated floors and towel rods in the bathroom were an added bonus! If we ever go back to London, we would stay here again. Perfect for our needs!

We received wonderful service from the staff of this hotel at all times of day. The room was clean, quiet, large by European standards and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious as well. The location is perfect for a London stay since it is within walking distance of many sites. Can't wait to go back! The only negative was the room we were given faced an interior wall.
