Overall the hotel was a nice value for the money. It's in a great location--within short walking distance of "downtown" York shopping and minutes from train station. The room (a "double double") had 2 double beds which were comfy--down comforters and pillows-- and a flat screen TV. The towels in the bathroom were nice and large! The cons were the shower (which lacked water pressure) and the stuffiness of the room. There was no air conditioning although the window did open (I visited in November and although it was cool outside the room was often hot and stuffy). Other con is the lack of free internet but we did find a Starbucks close by with free wi-fi! Hotel staff was personable and helpful.
