Hotel Princess felt like home away from home, and I have stayed at several hotels.
The service is personalized and all the staff are very friendly. With no doubt, one of the highlights of the hotel is the RESTAURANT.. Delicious Home Made food style with a welcoming service from everyone. Breakfast is splendid and every day they offer a special theme for lunch.
The rooms and beds are very comfortable and clean. The gym is small and not all the equipment was working.
The location is also very convenient as you can go to nice shopping in the Zona Viva (the best in town).
The hotel is a very good value for money and the shuttle service from/to the airport very convenient as well.
With no doubt, Hotel Princess will be my home away from home when visiting in Guatemala!!!

For the money, this is an excellent hotel. Clean, friendly staff, adequate ancillary facilities (small pool, gym, sauna). All desk clerks spoke adequate English, most were very fluent. Breakfast included in my rate........not as good as other breakfasts I've had in Central American countries, but certainly adequate. Guatemalan specialities, fresh fruit, fresh bread and sweets.

Though the staff was really kind, I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you expect a comfy bed. I stayed there with my wife and gave us a small and hard bed, the carpet was old and dirty. It's sad they haven't updated their rooms. It has a great location and they serve a tasty breakfast as well, but not a great place to take your partner, there are much better hotels in the area for a few bucks more

We were here for a week on a mission trip to Guatamala and this hotel was all-around very good. The food was good, the room was very comfortable (though a bit small for two full-size beds). All the staff was super friendly. Money could be exchanged at the front desk. There are restaurants and shopping in the area around the hotel. I'd definitely stay there again. The water is purified and can be consumed without worry by Americans.

Our room was extremely nice, the bedding superb. We stayed here because of the close proximity to the airport with an early flight. We had no occasion to check out the location other than it's proximity to the airport. The staff was terrific.
