hotel is in great location on beach. Has great snorkeling right across little road from hotel. only thing could be better is entry to ocean down steps. hotel not too big like mega hotels in playa del carmen or riviera maya. Has two pools, bigger one by hotel, smaller quieter one across the street by overlooking the ocean. very scenic. Food for breakfast great, not so great for lunch buffet, but you can get hamburgers and hot dogs barbequed at lunch by big pool cooked to order. Dinner buffet to be avoided but excellent Italian restaurant available. You must make reservation early in day to get the time you want but then you go right in on time. Room spotless. Staff couldn.t be nicer. Wi- Fi works about 50% of the time. available TV is terrible. old tube type TV and limited channels. Had a great stay. Would definitely stay here again, although not for fancy people.

My husband and I stayed at the Fiesta Americana about 2 weeks ago. We had a great time. The staff was very friendly, food was good, service was awesome, hotel was very clean, we had a garden view room on the 3rd floor with a view of the ocean. They upgraded us at checkin to one of the casitas and we did not like that room. the casitas are set back behind the hotel and our room was quite a walk to the hotel,pool,restaurants etc. I went back immediatly and told them i wanted the garden view room that i paid for and they accomadated in the room we wanted without hesitation. The snorkeling in front of the hotel was nice. The money bar next door has great food also. we cant wait to go back.

My wife and I are scuba divers. The hotel facilities were perfect for our needs. The hotel staff were always friendly and went beyond the call of duty to make our stay pleasant. We plan on returning.

The resort was quiet in November. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and up to date. Internet in rooms was spotty but we went there to dive! Will be going back.
