There's no bells and whistles to this hotel. For the price it's a good deal, close to everything.

There is no pool at this hotel. The website link to the hotel mentions one that is a couple streets away. Actually we could use nearby Los Arcos Hotel pool for $15 a person, which we could then use the money toward food at hotel. Recommend upgrade to ocean-view, instead of standard room - extra $25 a day and gets you the ocean, kitchen and patio table/chairs... Beach was crowded and full of vendors. A quick walk to the Malecon made the location perfect! Room is not fancy, but has all the necessities and was clean.

I have never taken the time to review a hotel or anything, but after reading all these weird negative reviews I feel the need. First off the entire staff spoke English no problemo, even the maids. However I find it weird people comment on the staff speaking English, you didn't board a plane to Maine, you left the US, are you so arrogant that you assume everyone even in THEIR own country should speak English, there is a big world out there people open your eyes, and minds. That said, the ocean view room was off the hook! The view was worth double the money. Room was spotless, sheets clean, pillows normal. I only mention those because I’ve seen reviews saying it was dirty, sheets etc. Towels were big fluffy and brand new. There were no ants or bugs anywhere and the bathroom was very updated clean and the showers are new, with hot water. The restaurant serves this awesome crab omlette I would for sure suggest. You would be crazy to spend more money anywhere else because you will never be in your room. It is not a Westin, or Double tree, but you LEFT the US to go to Mexico, and it is a Mexican type hotel room. The internet worked fast and reliable. I slept like a baby to the sound of the ocean. Spend the money you save on booking your room here and eat the BEST Shrimp burger at Cafe Vayan. I'm in PV 5 times a year I've stayed everywhere and I'm now a BIG hotel Emperador fan!
