The staff was friendly and helpful. The outside area was beautiful, with access to the ocean, a lagoon, several pools and a hot tub. The restaurants are good, but fairly pricey. There are other restaurants a short walk away which are nice and cheaper. The public areas of the hotel are over air conditioned. You can turn it off in your room. There are two towers, on opposite sides of a busy street, connected at the mezzanine level. The tower on the ocean side has the better pools, the concierge, front desk and most of the restaurants- so you'll do less walking if you book a room in that tower.

I loved loved loved this hotel! We had a room that faced the lagoon area and it was absolutely beautiful. The hotel and grounds were wonderful too! The only negative I have and it could be considered a biggie to some, is that there was a smell to me in the halls. Didn't bother my husband but it did me. Wasn't in the room itself though or any of the large open areas. I think it is just something with a hotel that is sitting that close to the water. It would not stop me from staying here again though. We can't wait to go back!

the air travel was great the rooms view was beautiful but the absence of hot water while showering for days was bad.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights. One before our cruise and on after our cruise so we had 2 different rooms. Our first room was a city view room and it was very comfortable and clean. Even though it was a city view when we looked out the window we had water views looking down the street in both directions.. The second night we elected to get a balcony with an ocean view. It was beautiful and the sound of the waves hitting the breakwater was great. Very clean and comfortable also. Pools and grounds were well kept and the attendants were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
