Hilton Garden was clean with nice amenities. Breakfast buffet was okay, but found less expensive alternatives after the first day. Pool and spa were nice and clean. Business center was well stocked and appreciated so I could check email. (I don't have a laptop.) Bar by pool opened late on last day of stay. Overall, hotel met expectations. I knew I'd pay more for beachside accomodations.

Very noisy college spring breakers started the party at about 11am through 4am. We got NO SLEEP because of this. I complained and contemplated leaving a night early. The staff was great, they switched our room and gave us free breakfast for the trouble. I think the breakfast was way overpriced at 9.95 per person, which other hotels offer the same for free. They offered made-to -order omelets, french toast, or waffles plus your normal continental breakfast bar. I would have rather had a FREE continental breakfast.

When staying at a Hilton brand hotel, one expects a higher quality of stay. The front desk clerks were more interested in answering phone calls and stocking the guest grocery area than checking us in. Once in our rooms, the bed was extremely hard and gave no sense of rest. The staff were friendly, however, they withheld information quite often. We were on our way to the pool one night at 9:45, accompanied in the elevator by a Hilton employee. He said nothing to us about pool hours when it was clear that this was our destination. After we had been in the water for approximately two minutes, this same employee told us that the pool was closing and we were to get out immediately. They also began mowing the grass at 8:00 AM. There were also repeated problems with elevators being out of service. One of the two elevators went out during check-out time at the end of the week.
Our stay was not horrible, but for the price paid and for the brand of the hotel, we expected more. I will not stay at this hotel again nor will I stay at a Hilton Garden Inn if my normal brand of hotel is available.
