I called and confirmed reservation a day before. Reservation confirmed. Upon arrival I was met with Sandy, a very pleasasnt and informative proprietor. We register without a glitch. Upon arrival to our woodsy "chalet" Fred the co-proprietor was cleaning the outside of our door for our arrival. What a pleasant touch. The view from our balcony was toward the forest with possible deer to be found the next morning. No deer, but fabulous stay. Definitely will stay again on our next trip to Eureka Springs. Convenient location for downtown trolley and a short drive to groceries. Room expertly clean.

We travelled to Eureka for the annual VW show with a pickup and 28' trailer. The hotel had a large hidden parking lot in back ideal for parking this unweildy rig. Staff and other guests were pleasant, everything in the room worked correctly. Not a posh place, nor was it meant to be, but decent value for the price. Pool was small but clean.

Upon arrival, I explained that I had made reservations, gave my name, and was informed that my payment had been denied (this was not a problem on my end), that my room was given to another person, and that there was only 1 room available at twice the cost of the original room. I was told that they had attempted to call several times, but I was not contacted by them. I declined the room and walked out.
