This is the perfect hotel for families visiting Grand Canyon. We used the family/kid suite, and it was fantastic. Separate room with bunks for the kids, spacious counter area, microwave and fridge. Breakfast was substantial, and let us start the day without spending precious vacation dollars at the pretty expensive restaurants nearby. Staff was helpful with information about the area, restaurant recomendations, and park info. Overall, a great stay - would gladly recomend this to friends.

The hotel was fine but we went during the Christmas period and as a result it was very expensive for a Holiday Inn. Clearly a case of supply and demand as breakfast was extremely busy with inadequate seating. However breakfast itself was quite good. Our hotel room had no towels and it took two calls to guest services to remedy the situation. The pool was small but pleasant but the air temperature in the pool area dictated that you needed to keep moving. There was no changing facility at the pool which made getting to/from the pool somewhat awkward. WiFi was quite good and free which was great as I had no data signal in the region other than the WiFi.

We booked the min-suite king bed room since it was only a small amount more for the night. Upon checking in the hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and had just enough room for us for the night. The bathroom was a little small but no big deal really. The bed and pillows were comfortable and provided a good night sleep.
I've stayed at much fancier hotels that were triple the room rate and were much worse, I find this place to be perfect for a weekend getaway to the Grand Canyon.
The breakfast was good and the free in-room Wi-Fi was nice, even if the speeds were a little on the slow side.
I will definitely be booking a room here the next time I go up to the Grand Canyon.

Very expensive hotel, even in the off season. Staff is not very helpful, even for finding local food. Rooms are dingy, but clean. Lighting is awful. Beds are *very* old. It's all about location.
Internet is not reliable - did not work the whole time we were present. No cell service either. Don't rely on it to communicate or do work.
