This motel is at the far end of Bishop's Main Street which, for us, was just fine. The room was very clean and quiet and the staff was very responsive. The bed was a bit hard and the pillows very thin but we always bring our own pillows so it wasn't an issue for us. The continental breakfast was cold cereal, small muffins and doughnuts, juice, milk and coffee. Definitely sufficient for an early morning snack but we often went to local establishments for a bigger breakfast later. Although we didn't use it several guests seemed to be enjoying the small pool most evenings. All in ail the Super 8 was a good value since all we needed was a clean place to sleep after full days of other activities.

Not a great appearance or the friendliest staff. But the room was clean and comfortable. Wireless didn't work very well. Breakfast was cereal, but wasn't stale and provided the minimum morning carbs. Overall not a bad experience for a "dive hotel"--never had a concern about cleanliness, just presentation. Price was comparable to the experience.

We were on our way to Lake Tahoe and opted to stay the night in Bishop before traveling onward. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and tidy. We checked in real late (11:00 pm), but that was no problem. The shower was hot, cold, hot... not very happy with the temperature changes. Other than that, every thing was as expected. Nice to have a continental breakfast too.

The beds were so bad that I spent the rest of my trip trying to fix my back. all I felt was springs. I stayed at this hotel because they had rooms available and it had a pool. The pool was too cold to swim in. I would say 70-73 dergees.
