This hotel is a mess. It's under renovation. Half painted room, spilled paint all over the carpets, hallways never vacuumed during our 3 night stay, missing outlets, non-working outlets, plastic covering demo'd areas, holes in the bedroom walls, WiFi not working, carpet coming up, broken lock on the door - I could go on and on...

Comfortable rooms, large. Nice breakfast with eggs and sausage, much nicer than usual fare. Easy walk to many resturants, we walked to dinner most nights we were there. If you require Air conditioning though, pass, they do not have it.

Pros: Location was convenient and right across the street from the only late night diner in town apparently. The front-desk staff was very friendly and gave us good advice on where to eat and what local attractions to see in the brief time we had (June lake scenic loop - loved it - thanks!) Breakfast was basic but not bad.

This is a sadly typical ski town room. It smelled, the heater didn't work well (the controller box actually fell off the wall into my hand when I tried to turn it on), the walls were terribly thin, and in general, it was a nightmare. If I hadn't been paying $150+ a night for it, I might've felt a little bit better... But as it was, I felt disappointed, ripped off, and wished I was still in college sharing the room with a bunch of buddies.
