The beds were comfortable. But, the room was non-smoking and still I was breathing in smoke from the room next door. Also, I marked the door as DO NOT DISTURB so my stuff wouldn't be touched by maid. When I returned to room couple hours later my things had been moved off the bed so the bed could be made. It would have been appreciated that the bed had been maid if it was not for the sign I left on the door and the things I had laid out on the bed that was very important to NOT be touched. So SMOKE and lack of respect for my things seriously disatisfied me!!

The only good thing about the hotel was the price and location. The shower was made for someone shorter than 5'6", I had to hunch over to rinse my hair. The hotel said that HBO was included, and it wasn't. This hotel even charged for ice! The price was good, but looking back on it now I would have spent a few extra dollars for a nicer hotel.

At only a couple dollars more than a Motel 6, this is a great place to stay! Our room was on the third floor facing both the ocean and the freeway (it seems like you can't have one without the other in San Clemente) and yet it was remarkably quiet. The wireless Internet was free but the connection was very poor - probably because the room was far from the lobby - but we didn't go there to play on the Internet so it was no big deal. The room was very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable, though the bathroom door was a bit too large for the bathroom making getting in and out rather awkward. Parking under the hotel was very convenient and an elevator made the third floor room easily accessible to my handicapped wife. All in all a most enjoyable stay, and we will be back!

We were totally happy with this comfortable hotel. Very conveniently located, easy on-off freeway, but not noisy. As we were off season, there were several rooms available even though we arrived at 9:30 p.m. and without being asked, the gentlemen selected a quiet corner room that he thought would be "more spacious" for us. It was. The elevator to the upper floors was nice as was the covered parking. Lots of hot water and having a fridge & microwave saved us more money. The room was nicely painted & did not smell. The amount of shampoo was not great but more than enough for one day & they are replenished daily. Towels were fine. My friend usually stays in Motel 6''s and says this is two steps up for not much more money. Would definitely recommend.
