This hotel was described as having "award winning" food service. This is highly misleading. The restaurant on site is only open for dinner. Breakfast and lunch dining are not available. Only a tray of pastries, fruit and coffee are laid out in the hallway. The valet staff is exceptional and charming. They were terrific and I thought they both knew their job, looked after the clientele and were super guys.

Booked a room at The Pines Lodge on a Friday morning for a same day stay. After spending a day at The Pines Lodge, we wanted to move in. The room was spacious, comfortable and most importantly clean. The staff was professional and courteous. My husband and I spent quite a bit of time in the pool, lounging and strolling through town. When we woke up the next day, we decided to check the rates on an additional night. Fortunately, the resort not only had rooms but at a decent rate. Love this lodge and will be back!!!

The reservation was messed up. Two couples were traveling together - we ended up in separate locations. Actually the front desk staff were understanding and considerate to do the best they could. But this delayed our check in time by 1.5 hours and so we basically went to dinner, bed and left at 4:30 am for the airport. They charged a resort fee which was not justifiable as we did not have any chance to use the "resort". Under different circumstances this "might" have been a pleasureable stay.

The Pines Lodge is a first class Hotel. Employees are very kind, welcoming, and efficient. Work out room, out door heated swimming pool, hot tub, coffee on your floor, at 7:00 am. and beautiful scenery are just some of the highlights at The Pines. Check it out you wont be sorry!
