I expected a moderately okay mountain town hotel with scuffs and scrapes....I was pleasantly surprised to see that this hotel was far nicer. The rooms are nicely updated with a luxurious feel and were very clean. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was quite good and the ability to walk to downtown Durango was fantastic.

Very nice & well located hotel. Not sure if it was really worth the high price tag, but other than that, no complaints.

Visited Durango with some buddies for a ski trip...Great location! Only about a 20-25 minute drive to the resort, and a short walk to the downtown area. Friendly, laid-back staff allowed us to check in even though we were three hours early. We were given vouchers for breakfast, and the food was awesome. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great indoor hot tub especially after a long day of snowboarding. I have stayed in various hotels in and around Durango, and this is by far my favorite!!

It is close to a lot of activities, but for me it is close to my daughter who attends college in Durango.
