On our most recent visit, we came to this property on very short notice and counted ourselves lucky to find a room here. As has been the case on other visits, the property was well-maintained and attractive. Front-desk staff were very helpful. We prefer this location to any other in town, and always enjoy our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the king suites are especially nice - more like a small apartment than a typical hotel suite. My only quibble: I returned to the hotel one night after 3AM and found the front desk unattended. Yes, this is a sleepy little Western Slope town with a rock-bottom crime rate, but still . . . if the door's wide open, someone should be watching who walks in.

This was a really nice hotel with a friendly and efficient staff. Despite the fact that I arrived with a travel group of over 100 people, I was treated well and processed efficiently, I found the rooms standard in decor and amenties but clean and well maintained. This hotel is well-positioned for seeing the surrounding area of Colorado. It is close to reasonable restaurants and retail stores.

We have stayed at The Holiday Inn Express three times this summer - and all of our stays have been enjoyable. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful (ex. flyers for restaurant recommendations, calling maintenance to adjust the lock on our door). The fitness center has a nice variety of equipment and is only accessible by key. The pool and indoor hot tub are very nice! Beds are comfortable, good counter space around sink, and the rooms are quiet. We will always stay there when visiting the area.
