Room wasn't totally clean (random water bottle top here, other little items there) and housekeeping not included with room. They did provide extra shampoo, towels, trash bags when requested. Our 3 bedroom had its own washer and dryer, major bonus. Was here 10 years ago and it seemed way more spectacular. Now it's completely fine but nothing out of this world. Location is THE BEST part of this hotel for skiing. Period.

Units are individually owned and it is up to each owner to keep them maintained, which some are not investing back into their properties. Our unit was original furniture and appliances, putting everything at 10 years old. The stove only had 3 of the 4 electrical burners working, and the ones that were working were not level. The unit was not cleaned properly upon our arrival. There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door and a dirty glass by the sink. Carpeting was rippling between the kitchen and bedroom. Beds were sloping to the middle. The management had issues between housekeeping and the front desk. There was no tracking of requests. They just use their walkie talkie, make a request, and that's the last the front desk is involved. No follow through. They have VHS tapes for movies at the front desk - very 1980s, even though our unit did have a DVD player. The front desk staff let my 9 year old check out American Pie. After going back down to the front desk to get a more appropriate VHS tape, we came back to the condo only to learn the VHS player was not hookup to the TV set. Additionally, there is no wifi internet in your room. If you want to connect to the internet, you have to go sit in the lobby. This resort is relying on it's location for rental customers and has no incentive to maintain the units to luxury standards or provide excellent customer service. The advertised gourmet kitchen doesn't even provide their guests with salt and pepper. You have to purchase it yourself. If you want a guaranteed luxury experience, do not stay at the Zephyr.

My husband and I stayed for a week and did some skiing. The staff was great and the village was very nice. We stayed in a mountain view room that overlooked the village. I would recommend looking for the humidifier in the room if you are used to the dry climate. Also, if you are looking for nightlife, go somewhere else. There is no nightlife. Pretty much everything except a few restaurants and the ski rental stay open late. If you want any type of nightlife you can catch the shuttle to town. It is about a 10-15 minute ride. You can catch the gondola up the The Lodge at Sunspot on Friday and Saturday nights, but you need to make reservations. Internet access is free, but there is no wi-fi except in the lobby. You have to use an ethernet cable provided in the room.
