I was told that there were no refrigerators available, yet when my friends booked a room hours after we got there, turns out there was a fridge in their room. Kinda strange.

I have stayed at the Quality Inn on a regular basis, since I work in the area. I have tried other budget hotels in Groton and found them less than satisfying. The Quality Inn is comfortable with good beds and pillows. Located behind a rock formation, it is sheltered from highway and street noise. I have not had any issues with noise from other guests. The pool is a good size for a hotel pool. The breakfast is reasonable, although I wish they served it before 7 a.m. as I am leaving for work by 6:45 a.m. There is plenty of shopping nearby. I do wish the room windows opened, as the rooms tend to have a strong cleaning product smell, so I leave the door open to air it out. The large plate glass window also means that the light leaks into the room from the outside. Like other motels, the internet tends to be on the pokey side.

excellent hotel stay I came here for my birthday with my husband it was only 15 mins away from Mohegan sun. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The room was very clean and the space was great the only negative part of my hotel stay was the bed it was not very comfortable but everything else was excellent I would stat here again.

Stayed only one night so didn't get to check out the pool area. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, the breakfast was very good and the bed was comfy. The room was large but could have used some up dating .
