Don't be put off by a drab lobby and elevator...all that matters is the room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the shower gave pleasantly hot water, the shuttle got me there quickly, and good coffee could be made in the room!

We arrived late on the night of our stay and were greeted by the desk clerk. He was helpful and willing to go the extra mile. We went to our room but it had been a smoking room and we had requested non-smoking. He immediately put us in another room that was very nice and clean and non-smoking.

I needed a place to hang out while my daughter went to a rock festival. Even though I did not spend the night it was great. It was clean, comfy and quiet. The TV was amazing--I had to turn it just to try it out.

Reserved this hotel online due to reviews but mainly due to room rates, which I printed out and kept with me. Hotel was fine, although the room had an overpowering freshener smell which was difficult to get used to. Great television, no complaints until checkout. When leaving early morning I was given an invoice which showed I had been substantially overcharged for all but one night. The "night manager" was no help and thought it best to lecture me about how hotels have the right to change rates. A call to the hotel manager later was not returned. Contacted La Quinta's main office, who confirmed that the rates in a reservation were reserved and should have been honored. I did receive a refund a few days later without comment from the hotel.
