The room was decorated very nicely, but the furniture was exceedingly uncomfortable. The bed was ok, but I found the couch and chair rather unforgiving. Breakfast was fairly good, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nothing really to complain about. It was a good experience.

The room was spacious and had a nice floor plan. The hotel was also convenient to area attractions.

Very comfortable, very convenient hotel for sightseeing. We were visitng colleges - literally blocks away from GW University, easy walking distance to Metro for American University. Room worked fine for me and (2) teenagers. Kitchen is a handy thing to have, good Chinese restaurant down the block, lots of places to eat in neighborhood, CVS Pharmacy right next door for all the things you forgot to bring. This is an office neighborhood - not too many places to eat that are open on weekends. However, the Dupont Circle area is just a few blocks north, easy to walk to, and there's lots there. Front desk staff very helpful, valet parking efficient, breakfast quite good and well stocked. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! And oh yes - walk 4 blocks south and there's the White House......... PS - We left the "Do Not Disturb" on our door by mistake when we went out. At 5 PM the maid actually knocked on our door and asked if we would like her to make up the room for us - wonderful!
